Dear Parents & Guardians,
A significant number of Holy Family School students have been presenting with stomach virus symptoms (vomiting and diarrhea). In an effort to maintain a safe environment for all our students the school nurse has notified the County Board of Health. I have consulted with the Diocesan Superintendent of Schools and the Pastor. I have determined that in the best interest of all students, faculty, and staff school will be closed tomorrow, December 4, 2009.
All activities will resume on Saturday, December 5, 2009. However, if your child is presenting with these symptoms please do not allow her or him to participate.
Tomorrow the custodial staff will aggressively clean and disinfect the entire school. They will redouble their efforts as we move forward. School will open at the usual time on Monday, December 7, 2009.
